Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Ford Expedition NV22G- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the Kuat NV 2.0. We're gonna be taking a look at how it fits our 2023 Ford Expedition. Now the first thing when carrying around bikes with your Ford Expedition is that the hitch is pretty high up, which also means that you are gonna be lifting your bikes pretty high up to get onto the bike rack. So with a Kuat NV, I would actually recommend taking a look at the sold separately add-on, which is the access ramp, and that is something you can add to this bike rack that way instead of lifting the bikes up and onto the rack, you can then just ramp them up. This does have a 60 pound weight capacity for those heavier bikes. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Hollywood Rack Destination Four. We're gonna be taking a look at how it fits our 2023 Ford Expedition. The main thing with the Expedition is when you do wanna carry around bikes, the hitch sits pretty high up so you are gonna have to lifting your bikes up pretty high in order to get them onto the rack. Another thing is that a Destination Four is one of my favorite entry level compact racks and that allow you to carry up to four bikes without taking up a lot of space. So seeing how this fits on the Expedition, some of the things we will be taking a look at is how much accessibility do we have in the car One example is that this bike rack does not tilt away so if you wanted to open up your hatch you would have to take your bikes off. Another thing is that this does have a weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike. more

So if you have extra heavy electric bikes and you're looking for a bike rack that not only has that extra weight capacity to carry them, but you also wanna make it easier on yourself, because the Ford Expedition has a hitch that's really high up. So that also means you have to lift those heavy electric bikes high up to get onto their bike rack. Well, our Destination E has a ramp included, although not attached, and this ramp will make it a lot easier to get those bikes on and back off the rack. more

Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Rocky Mounts Backstage Two Bike Platform Rack on our 2020 Ford Expedition. Now, right away you're getting some great features with this guy. The big one to stand out, as you see, we do have an E-Bike out here today, and with 60 lbs capacity, per bike, you're able to get most of those big bikes on here. Now, keep in mind, with those E-Bikes you do want to make sure you're removing those batteries, that's going to take the weight off of your bike, off of your rack, and make for a nice and smooth ride for yourself. As well as preventing any damage to your bike or your rack. Another great feature with this as well, is we are going to be able to fit some of those fat tire bikes on here. more

Today on our 2016 Ford Expedition we're doing the test fit of the Swagman XC 2-Bike rack platform style, part number S64650. We have our bike on on our and we have our rack hooked to our vehicle. To disengage it you press the button, pull up and to engage it you just pull ring down till you can't bring it any more. Now always hold onto your bike, go ahead and take this up and we'll take off our bike, set it off to the side. Today on our 2016 Ford Expedition, we're doing a test fit of the Softride Element Parallelogram 4 Bike Rack, part # SR26248. We have a bike on our rack, we have a rack onto our vehicle. Just going to show you a few features of it. The first feature I'd like to show you, with the bike on the rack, it actually tilts out. We have a black lever here, we're going to pull on that, bring our bike rack out. With your bike on, and the rack in this position, you see that you can get in and out of your hatch, so we have plenty of room on both sides of your bike rack to put anything in or take anything out. We have a totally of three straps, two up top and the one to the side which is called our anti-sways wrap. That's going to help the bike from not swaying and damaging the vehicle or other bikes. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford Expedition s63380- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford Expedition, we're going to do a test fit of the Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike Rack, part number S63380. Now, we have a bike on our rack and we have our rack hooked to our vehicle. I'll show you a few features. How we have our bike connected to our rack itself, we have a total of 4 straps. We have 3 up top and we have the 1 to the side, which we call, an anti-sway strap. That's going to keep the bike from swaying and damaging your vehicle or your other bikes on your rack. Let's go ahead and take the 3 off the top first. more

Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford Expedition, we are doing a test fit of the Inno tire hold 3 bike rack, platform style, part number NIH305-306. Now we have a bike on our rack and a bike hooked to our vehicle. I'm going to show you a few features. Now the first feature I'm going to show you while the bike is on the rack, we have a tilt to feature. I'm going to grab hold to our bike rack, this lever here, pull it down and just bring it down like so. Now we should be able to get inside our hatch, but on this particular bike, it does touch at the handle bars, so if you have something smaller that you need to get in somehow at the back of the hatch, they can possible be there, but other than that, it will touch so you just want to keep that in mind. Close it back up and we will bring this back up. more

Today on our 2015 Ford Expedition we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Tire Hold bike rack. This is going to be your platform-style 3-bike rack, part number INH305-306. As you can see, we've already got a bike up here on the platform and in place so you can see what it would look like once you have it fully assembled and your bike on it. Let's start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be first from the front of the plate here to the backside of the bumper at about 3-7/8". Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle from the rear of the bumper to the back of the platform is going to be about 39-1/2". Our rear ground clearance at about 22-3/4". more

Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Expedition we're going to be doing a test fit of the Saris Freedom platform style four bike rack. As you can see we've already got our bike up and on it and in place so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled and on your vehicle. This is going to be part number SA4414B. Let's go ahead and get a few measurements out of the way. Our closest distance will be the first measurement and that's going to be from the bend in the shank here to the back of our receiver at about 7". Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle will be from the rear of the bumper to the back side of the cradles at about 40 1/4". more
